The Last 6 Weeks Part 2

So, he texted virtually as soon as he'd left. We spent the next 2 weeks texting and chatting to each other every single day.
He went home on leave on the tuesday morning, I spoke to him Tuesday, all was fine.
I went to work as normal on wed and I hadnt heard from him by lunchtime, which was a bit strange, so at about 3pm I rang him. He seemed even quieter than normal and we were talking for ages before he actuall came out and told me. He said his ex phoned him the night before and asked him to get back with her. I asked him what he was gonna do and he said he wasn't sure, I told him to do what felt right and not to worry about me.
